This media production project is part of an NSF grant-funded initiative to explore the nuances of how society views plant transformation, genomic studies, and other forms of BioTechnology in a changing world. We are a collaboration of scientists, communicators, and student voices whose mission is to understand the history, and potential, of our relationship with the environment around us, and to share what we learn widely.

Hi! My name is Carrie Cantrell. I am a Digital Communication Arts major with OSU's ECampus, and excited to be a part of the BioTech Inisghts project as web-writer and copyeditor to help turn complicated scientific information into fun media projects and digestible articles people love to share. I love technical writing and accessible digital design, but I am passionate about all aspects of research communication and media production from engaging with scientists to crafting creative and exciting messages that will help audiences understand the most important lessons of a topic.
